• Either check online, or call churches in the directory to gather information

• Ask them to link to our website
• Ask them to send their newsletters – check who does first
• Check regional denominational websites for information on churches

• Plan ahead what events there are
• Call volunteers to take displays there
• Recruit volunteers to do displays or take Fig Trees to events

Do phone calls

• Connect with agencies to find out about them, their concerns, story ideas
• Nurture church bulk order relations
• Call distribution team members to find out what churches have copies left
• Call churches receiving bulk quantities to check how they are doing
• Encourage them to hand out the copies
• Ask if they would like a speaker

Help with benefit breakfast and dialogue events

• Call to invite people to host tables – check with Deidre for a list
• Go through the mail and newsletters – find the RSVP envelopes
• Make a list of people who have reserved – include phone number, address, email so we can send a reminder
• Help with other details – to recruit volunteers for that day, to invite people on campus
• Help keep list of those attending
• Prepare name tags
